The Sealevel 641U is purpose-built for applications requiring multiple RS-232 serial connections over USB in industrial environments. Its four RJ45 ports can connect to serial devices while retaining compatibility with legacy software via standard COM port presentation.
With a state-machine architecture, the 641U reduces CPU load during multi-port operations—ideal for data-intensive environments. Each serial port has integrated LED indicators for data transmission and reception, aiding in real-time diagnostics.
Power can be supplied through either a terminal block or a barrel connector, and the fused supply is routed to pin 5 of each port for convenient peripheral power.
Designed for industrial modularity, the 641U supports RS-485 passthrough for up to 246 SeaI/O expansion modules, enabling advanced I/O configurations like relays, analog I/O, and isolated digital input.
